ACL HU down Awali Gents
ACL HU edged out Awali Gents by nine runs in the latest matches of the Sprite sponsored Sprite BCL-CBA Division Premier League T-20 tournament at the Busaiteen Grounds in Muharraq.
Batting first, ACL HU scored 165 for eight in 20 overs thanks to Babar Zaman (52) and Saeed (33) with Ajith (three for 16) the best of the bowlers.
Awali Gents were then restricted to 156 for nine in 20 overs with Muzammil (45) and Lloyd (22) the main scorers and Fayaz (three for 23) the best of the bowlers.
In another match, RKCT had a resounding 127-run win against Young Star after scoring a massive 199 for two with fine knocks by Guru (74) and Harpreet (56).
Young Star then finished on 72 for seven with Shukoor (14) offering the only resistance and Guru (two for 11) the pick of the bowlers.
