HH Shaikh Isa’s prestigious FIBA Foundation board post renewed

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) has renewed the appointment of Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC) vice-president His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa as a member of the board of directors of the FIBA Foundation.
The FIBA Foundation is the social and legacy arm of FIBA that addresses the role of sports and particularly basketball in society, preserving and promoting basketball’s values and its cultural heritage.
The appointment of HH Shaikh Isa comes in recognition of his efforts in developing the game of basketball globally and in the Kingdom, from his time as the former Bahrain Basketball Association president to his current position on the BOC.
HH Shaikh Isa’s selection to one of the highest bodies in global basketball is also an embodiment of the confidence of international sporting organisations in Bahraini officials.
