HH Shaikh Khalid directs to hold Olympic Day on November 4 in Bahrain

His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee (BOC), has directed to hold the Olympic Day on November 4.
The Bahrain Olympic Committee will organise the Olympic Day in response to the annual invitation of the International Olympic Committee, in cooperation with national sports federations.
His Highness affirmed his keenness to promote a culture of sports through a series of sports events that target all segments of society.
HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted the success of the previous editions of Olympic Day, thanking the public and private institutions for organising this year's edition.
"The Olympic Day promotes practices that boost physical and mental health and sports ethics.
Bahrain always celebrates the Olympic Day to consolidate these principles and spread them among society," HH Shaikh Khalid added.
