Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) announced yesterday that it is holding an Autograph Session for fans to meet their World Endurance Championship (WEC) heroes at the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain.

This fan-engagement activity is very popular amongst motorsport enthusiasts in the Kingdom, with the session featuring endurance motor racing’s superstar drivers. Those attending will be able to take photos with their favourite WEC protagonists and get memorabilia signed.

The Autograph Session is scheduled for tomorrow along the circuit’s main pit lane from 11.50am to 12.20pm. Those who are looking to make the most of this opportunity to interact with endurance motorsport’s icons are advised to get to the circuit early to avoid missing out.

BIC’s gates will be open tomorrow from 10.30am to 10.30pm. This event is one of the many fan-engagement activities that are set to take place this weekend at the Bapco Energies 8 An autograph-signing session from a previous race edition Hours of Bahrain.

BIC goes cashless for ‘8 Hours of Bahrain’ race spectacle

Meanwhile, BIC announced that it is introducing an all-new, fan-friendly initiative at this weekend’s Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain, with the aim of enhancing the race-goer experience.

For the first time ever, BIC is becoming a cashless venue for WEC, making for a more convenient and efficient visit to “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” today and tomorrow for the season-finale of the 2023 FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).

All those attending the Bapco Energies 8 Hours of Bahrain will be able to make a transaction either with their regular debit or credit card or contactless payment method, or a special pre-payment card.
