HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal clinches Local Endurance Race title

HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa was crowned the champion of the Local Endurance Race in the second round of the season as Team Victorious dominated the podium.
Team Victorious also won the Best Horse Condition award in the event which was attended by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs and Honourary President of the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF).
The event was organised by BREEF and held in the presence of HH Shaikh Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Vice Chairman of the Supreme Council for Environment, Vice Chairman of the Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club, and member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports.
His Highness Shaikh Nasser congratulated HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal bin Rashid Al Khalifa, rider of Team Victorious, on being crowned champion of the 120 km local race, praising the team for their lead and winning top positions.
His Highness emphasised that the extensive participation witnessed in the races is indicative of the goals achieved by BREEF thanks to their keenness in creating the ideal atmosphere for all stables and riders in order to attract more participants.
Team Victorious dominated the podium of the 120km race as HH Shaikh Isa bin Faisal’s teammates Mohammed Khalid Al Ruwaie came second and Salman Isa finished third.
The winners were crowned by Ghalib Al Alawi, Secretary of BREEF, Dr. Khaled Ahmed Hassan, Assistant Secretary of the Federation and Manager of the Royal Endurance Team, and Tawfiq Al Salehi, Director of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa Media Office and Information Centre and Head of the Media, Marketing and Public Relations Committee at BREEF. Team Victorious won the Best Horse Condition Award which is patronised by Her Highness Shaikha Noora bint Hamad Al Khalifa, Captain of Al Fursan team.
The award was bagged by Al Ruwaie. Rider Sarhan Al Anzi of Al Safinat Stables finished first in the international race, followed by Nasser Khalifa of N13 Stables who came second.
Al Anzi’s teammate Isa Abdullah came third.
