Allegra Korpanec Davies of Great Britain and Robin Boeckli of Switzerland both secured sensational title doubles yesterday as the Bahrain ITF Juniors 2023 tournament wrapped up at the Bahrain Tennis Federation (BTF) hard courts in Isa Town.

Allegra won the girls’ singles title to add to her doubles crown, while Robin claimed the boys’ singles championship to go with his doubles winners’ trophy.

The championship was the third of three straight ITF events hosted by the Kingdom over the past few weeks.

It was the only J60 tournament from the three, and it was a part of the 2023 International Tennis Federation (ITF) World Tennis Tour Juniors, which features the world’s top tennis talents aged 13 to 18.

Third-seeded Allegra claimed her girls’ singles title after defeating eighth seed Cindy Langlais of France 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-4 in their final match.

Allegra’s triumph earned her a second gold medal in the tournament after also winning the girls’ doubles with compatriot and playing partner Flora Johnson.

In the boys’ singles final, Robin outclassed Egor Shcherbakov 6-3, 6-3 to win gold.

He had earlier also captured the boys’ doubles crown with Aleksandar Daskalovic of Serbia.

Following both singles finals yesterday, the winners and runners-up were presented their respective trophies and medals.
