Najma rout Isa Town in basketball league

Al Najma posted a resounding 93-72 victory over Isa Town last night to wrap up the fourth week of action in the 2023/2024 Zain Bahrain Basketball League.
Najma used a strong fourth-quarter showing to pull away from their opponents after a tight opening three quarters.
Najma led 25-20 at the end of the first and were up 46-42 at the break.
The fight remained close with Najma holding a slim 68-64 lead after three, but the victors then opened the final canto with a 19-2 run to blow the game wide open.
They led by as many as 23 points en route to the final whistle. Three Najma players finished with 20 points or more in the contest.
Joshua Caldwell had 23, including four three-pointers, while Elijah Robinson had 20 to go with 11 rebounds and Mohayed Ameer also had 20 points.
For Isa Town, who were still playing without a foreign professional, Jehad Ahmed had 21 points and Talal Qaheri finished with 18.
With the result, Najma improved to a 3-1 win-loss record in the top-half of the league standings, while Isa Town suffered their third straight loss and remained as one of three winless teams.
