Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club (REHC) is set to host back-to-back days of action today and tomorrow. Set to headline today’s eight-race card is the Bahrain Olympic Committee Cup.

The six-furlong event for imported horses offers a BD5,000 total prize, with eight runners in the fray representing top owners including Al Adiyat Racing, Al Afoo Racing and Victorious, amongst others.

Also up for the taking today will be four General Sports Authority Cups in races two through five. Races six and seven are set to be for imported horses, while the first of the day will be a WAHO event.

The programme is scheduled to begin at 1.25pm and all are welcome to attend the day’s events. Tomorrow, another eight races are on the cards, including three for imported runners. The eighth and final race of the day will be an eight-furlong ride with a BD3,000 total prize.

The imported horses will also be in action in races five and six. Four of the other races will be for locally bred entrants, while the first race of the day is a WAHO event. For more information, visit REHC’s website on bahrainturfclub.com.
