Bahraini hero Hamza Kooheji will be sidelined with injury and unable to represent his beloved country and the Arab world at the Arab Legends vs UK & Ireland duel that will take place during BRAVE CF 80, December 15, at the Khalifa Sports City Arena.
But he has praised the other Bahraini fighters in action at the event, and has called on his fans, as well as sporting fans in Bahrain to take over the Khalifa Sports City Arena to support the Bahrain fighters.
And Hamza has spoken specifically of an old friend of his, someone who came up with him, but suffered a terrible injury, breaking his leg. Hussain Ayyad is now back, healthy, and ready to compete and represent Bahrain on the international stage, as he did in the amateur scene, when he became the first Bahrain amateur fighter to win a medal in IMMAF competition.
‘’Hussain is very relaxed, he doesn’t care that much about the fight, he doesn’t feel too much stress. Now he needs to take his training seriously, the most important fight of his life is going to take place on December 15. He needs to work on everything in his training, as a professional. After he came back from injury, his confidence took a hit. But he’s over now, it happened in 2019, and he’s ready to come back`, said Hamza during a recording of ``The Hawk`s Corner`, which is BRAVE CF president Mohammed Shahid`s podcast.
Hussain Ayyad will once again be a force to be reckoned with within the Arab Legends team as they look to beat UK & Ireland at BRAVE CF 80 – five fights will take place between both sides, with athletes from Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, and Egypt representing the Arab Legends.
