NMS- Bahrain wins gold and silver at Bahrain Schools’ Chess Championship

The New Millennium School, Bahrain received accolades in both boy’s and girl’s category, in the Bahrain Schools’ Chess Championship, organised by The Ministry of Education in cooperation with the General Sports Association and Bahrain Chess Club.
Over 5000 students from varous Public and Private schools competed in the qualifying phase, of whom 400 could succeed to reach the final round. Winners are as follows: BOYS 1st Category- Nyrav Gopalkrishnan of Grade 2 bagged the Silver Medal.
2nd Category- Hudson Antony of Grade 5 bagged the Gold Medal 4TH Category- Avran Mathew of Grade 10 bagged the Silver Medal. GIRLS 3rd Category- Charvi Jain of Grade 8 bagged the Silver Medal. Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Geetha Pillai and Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma congratulated the students and the coaches for their performance.
