At BRAVE CF 80, a team of Arab Legends will take on a team of fighters from the UK & Ireland - and leading the way for the former will be none other than Hussain Ayyad.
However, he will also be leading the charge for Team Bahrain. As part of BRAVE International Combat Week, BRAVE CF 80 will emanate from the Khalifa Sports City Arena in Isa Town, Bahrain.
The show will be headlined by Jose Torres vs Nkosi Ndebele in a blockbuster rematch for the bantamweight title, but in addition to that, we’ll get a series of fascinating matchups when Arab Legends go to war with UK & Ireland.
Four different divisions will be represented, ten fighters will compete, and when all is said and done, we’ll have one team that stands tall above the other. It’s a four-fight series with one team ultimately coming out on top.
There are plenty of fascinating characters who will be taking part, but the de facto captain for Arab Legends will be none other than Hussain Ayyad. Between injuries and postponements, Ayyad has been waiting for his opportunity to really make a mark in BRAVE CF.
Now, with the lights shining down on him in the Kingdom of Bahrain, he has the chance to lead this team to victory when he battles Gerard Burns at BRAVE CF 80. Alongside this, Ayyad will also be the head of the table for Team Bahrain.
The nation will be represented by an all-star line-up of incredible fighters including Abbas Khan, Sabrina De Sousa and Fabiola Nascimento, as this great country continues to prove itself on the world stage.
The Kingdom of Bahrain has been the home of BRAVE Combat Federation for years now, and the Pearl of the Persian Gulf is beginning to emerge as one of the most exciting hotspots for MMA on the planet. The 30-year-old has fought back from some real adversity with his biggest hurdle being a leg injury sustained at BRAVE CF 29.
He’s been through rehab and tough results, but through it all, he’s never lost the self-belief he has in himself. Ayyad has the heart of a champion and the spirit of a warrior and when that cage door shuts, he aims to prove why he has earned his spot at this level - as will his Team Bahrain teammates.
