Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” and Gulf Air announced today the launch of its Kingdom-wide search for the first-ever Bahrain GP Superfan.
This competition is part of BIC’s fantastic fan-engagement activities leading up to the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024, which will commemorate BIC’s landmark 20th anniversary in F1.
F1 enthusiasts who believe they have what it takes to claim the celebrated tag are invited to submit a short video explaining why they should be considered the Bahrain GP Superfan. Potential winners could be someone who has been to every race since 2004, someone with an exceptional story of their Bahrain Grand Prix experience, someone with a unique tradition for the annual F1 event, or someone with any other reasons that make them that extra-special fan BIC and Gulf Air are looking for.
The top ten finalists will be invited as VIP guests to the official launch of F1 2024 on 4 January, which will be a special event marking the start of the highly anticipated anniversary celebrations. There, the winner of the Bahrain GP Superfan search will be unveiled.
All those that make the top ten will win special prizes including Gulf Air flights, Bahrain GP number plates signed by an F1 driver and many other special prizes. The ultimate winner will receive a money-can’t-buy grand prize and the title of Bahrain Grand Prix Superfan.
Those interested in taking part can submit their videos via direct message to BIC’s official Instagram account @bah_int_circuit. The deadline for entries is 28 December and the competition is only open to Bahraini citizens and residents.
