Hussain ‘’Iron’’ Ayyad will finally step out of the shadows of his friend and teammate Hamza Kooheji, as the highest-ranking Bahraini fighter on a BRAVE CF card.

Since Kooheji is out with an injury, Ayyad will be involved in the third-most important fight of BRAVE CF 80, which takes place in Bahrain today.

And he hopes a win will be the perfect early gift for Bahrainis around the world on the occasion of the Bahrain National Day, which takes place a day after BRAVE CF 80, on December 16.

Hussain Ayyad is one of the most legendary Bahraini fighters, having made history as the first Bahraini fighter to win an IMMAF World Championship medal, but has had to deal with a horror injury during his professional career – which sidelined him for over two years.

He has recently recovered and picked up the pace of his training, transforming himself into the professional fighter his potential deserves and rising to a notable level within the Flyweight division. As Hussain takes on Gerard Burns of Ireland, he will be also representing Arab MMA, as part of the duel between Team Arab Legends and Team UK & Ireland.
