Only two days remain for Formula 1 fans to be able to submit their entries for Bahrain International Circuit’s (BIC) and Gulf Air’s Kingdom-wide competition in search of the first-ever Bahrain GP Superfan.
Incredible prizes are to be won in this fantastic contest, launched by “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East” and Bahrain’s national carrier. It is only the first of a series of exciting fan-engagement activities leading up to the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024, which will be celebrating BIC’s landmark 20th anniversary in F1.
F1 enthusiasts who believe they have what it takes to claim the celebrated tag of the first-ever Bahrain GP Superfan are invited to submit a short video explaining why they should be considered.
Those interested in taking part can submit their videos via direct message to BIC’s official Instagram account @bah_int_ circuit. The deadline for entries is Thursday, and the competition is only open to Bahraini citizens and residents.
Potential winners could be someone who has been to every race since 2004, someone with an exceptional story of their Bahrain Grand Prix experience, someone with a unique tradition for the annual F1 event, or someone with any other reasons that make them that extra-special enthusiast BIC and Gulf Air are looking for.
The top 10 finalists will be invited as VIP guests to the official launch of the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 on 4 January, which will be a special event marking the start of the highly anticipated anniversary celebrations. There, the winner of the Bahrain GP Superfan search will be unveiled. All those that make the top 10 will win special prizes including Gulf Air flights, Bahrain GP number plates signed by an F1 driver, and many other special prizes.
The ultimate winner will receive a money-can’t-buy grand prize and the title of Bahrain GP Superfan. Next year’s F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix kicks off the 2024 FIA Formula 1 World Championship. It is scheduled to be held 29 February to 2 March, and it will be the Kingdom’s first-ever Saturday night F1 race.
