F1 Bahrain GP 2024 launch set

Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”, will be holding the official public launch of the Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 tomorrow.
BIC is inviting all F1 fans in the Kingdom to attend the event, scheduled to take place at The Harbour at The Avenues Bahrain from 5pm.
The launch will be the first of a series of exciting fan-engagement activities held as part of Bahrain GP Live Weekend, which continues on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 11pm on both days.
Details of Bahrain’s landmark 20th anniversary race in F1 will be announced at the event, to be hosted by legendary F1 commentator David Croft.
The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 is set to be the opening round of this year’s FIA F1 World Championship, and it will be the Kingdom’s first-ever Saturday night race—headlining a momentous and massively thrilling weekend packed with racing and entertainment from 29 February to 2 March.
Also set to be announced at tomorrow’s official launch is the winner of the nation-wide search of the first-ever Bahrain GP Superfan.
BIC and Gulf Air have called on F1 enthusiasts to enter this competition and submit a short video explaining why they should claim the celebrated tag.
The top finalists will be attending the launch event as VIP guests and are set to come away with special prizes, including Gulf Air flights, Bahrain GP number plates signed by an F1 driver, and many other valuable gifts.
Ultimate winner The ultimate winner, meanwhile, will receive a moneycan’t-buy grand prize and the title of Bahrain GP Superfan.
A wide variety of attractions will also be on hand at The Avenues Bahrain as part of Bahrain GP Live Weekend.
These include F1 race simulators, a soft games area, a balloon twister performer, a henna artist, face painting for kids, and much more.
The F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024 will be the sixth time the Kingdom will have the honour of hosting the opening round of the new F1 season.
It will also be the 11th time the grand prix will be taking place under lights.
Interest from F1 fans all over the world remains at an all-time high following the complete sellout of Bahrain’s historic 2023 race.
This is even more so for the 2024 event, which promises to be an extra-memorable occasion with a special celebration lined up for all.
Aside from the racing action in F1 and its international support series line-up, there will also be plenty of off-the-track entertainment for the whole family
