Mohammad Fakhreddine made history by becoming the first, and thus far only BRAVE CF simultaneous two-division champion when he captured the Middleweight and Light Heavyweight title between 2021 and 2022.
As he readies for a return to action, the Arab MMA legend is gearing up a historic run to a third world title. ‘’The Latest’’ has set his eyes on winning the Super Welterweight world title, currently possessed by champion Kamal Magomedov.
And has gone as far as calling out the world champion directly, by tagging him and BRAVE CF in an Instagram post, and directly asking for the world title shot at 79 kilograms. When the post asked what would happen next in Fakhreddine’s career, he came with the idea of adding a third different weight class world title to his list of accomplishments: ‘’How about a third world title?
BRAVE CF Super Welterweights, I’m coming for you’’, posted Fakhreddine. The champion Kamal Magomedov took no time to respond to the former two-division titleholder and warned Fakhreddine ‘’to be careful what he wished for’’. The Lebanese legend didn’t back down from the champion and said that ‘’this is exactly what I am wishing for.
The champ-champ taking on the newly-crowned, young and undefeated champ. What a great fight it would bee’’. In the end, both the former champion and the current king of the Super Welterweight division agreed in making the fight happen, but it will be up to BRAVE Combat Federation if this will be the plan for 2024, as the company gears up for a host of event announcements following the news that Slovenia will receive two BRAVE CF events in the new year.
