ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain signs agreement with Aramex Bahrain

The Executive Organising Committee of the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 has established a cooperation agreement with Aramex Bahrain in support of the Kingdom’s hosting of the mega multi-sport event, taking place later this year.

Executive Organising Committee Chairman, Ishaq Abdulla Ishaq, and Aramex Bahrain Country Manager, Yanal Anz, confirmed the deal in a signing ceremony.

The partnership aims to enhance collaboration between the two sides and facilitate the organisation of various aspects of the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, with Aramex Bahrain providing transportation, shipping, and other logistical services such as the support and supplies necessary for the highly anticipated event.

The ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024, held under the banner of the International School Sport Federation (ISF), is scheduled to be hosted by the Kingdom in October under the royal patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Ishaq expressed his delight in signing the cooperation agreement with Aramex Bahrain and noted that it will contribute significantly to the success of the competition, while enhancing the experience for participants.

Cooperation Anz spoke of his pride in Aramex Bahrain’s cooperation with the Executive Organising Committee of the ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024. He pointed out the significance of sport in enhancing healthy competition and social participation amongst youth.

The ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 is expected to attract thousands of students, coaches, fans, and media from 80 countries all over the world.

While being a leading sporting occasion, it will also be an opportunity to learn about different cultures.

The ISF Gymnasiade Bahrain 2024 is set to be held over a period of 10 days this October. Twenty-five different sports will be showcased in the event, among which include athletics, swimming, gymnastics, basketball, boxing, taekwondo, karate, judo, table tennis, badminton, ground tennis, handball, volleyball, dancing, chess, javelin throwing, darts and paralympic games.

Fourteen sites across Bahrain have been allocated as venues for games as well as for special programmes that will be held for the participants.
