F1 stars Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr enjoy day of golf

Formula 1 stars Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz Jr took to the fairways at The Royal Golf Club yesterday.

The club shared an image on social media of Norris and Sainz Jr with The Royal Golf Club chairman Captain Waleed Al Alawi and Carlos Sainz Sr, a rallying legend.

Norris also posted on social media a moment at the course shared with McLaren CEO Zak Brown.

The F1 field have a few days’ break following the completion of F1 Aramco Pre-Season Testing 2024, held at Bahrain International Circuit from Wednesday to Friday last week.

The new season gets underway in just under a week’s time with the F1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix 2024, taking place from Thursday to Saturday in Sakhir.

Some of F1’s star drivers are spending the interim in the Kingdom prior to race weekend while others have commitments elsewhere.

Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc shared on social media some leisure time in his hotel’s swimming pool with his trainer, while Kick Sauber’s Valtteri Bottas posted videos and images of a bike ride of over fours, covering more than 100 kilometres, in Bahrain’s desert area.
