Bahrain’s Dar Kulaib take on Al Seeb of Oman today in the quarter-finals of the 42nd Arab Clubs Volleyball Championship, currently being played in Amman.
The game is scheduled for a 1pm start. Dar Kulaib are hoping to continue their fine form in the tournament.
They won four of their five Group B games in the preliminary round, including victories over Police SC of Qatar, North Refineries of Iraq, Burgan SC of Kuwait, and Eira of Jordan.
Their only loss was to Asswehly SC of Libya. Seeb have already defeated one Bahraini club in the competition when they overcame Al Najma in their Group A clash. Najma have not qualified for the quarters after losing four of their five outings and not making it in the top four of their six-team table.
They play a consolation ranking game today against North Refineries.
The other fixtures in the last eight today pit Burgan SC of Kuwait against Qatar SC of Qatar at 11am, Kazma of Kuwait against Asswehly at 4pm, and Police against Al Ahly Benghazi of Libya at 7pm.
