Living Art, Obeyan 1867 win other King’s Cup races

Living Art and Obeyan 1867 lifted the other trophies yesterday dedicated to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa as part of the season-ending events at Rashid Equestrian and Horseracing Club.
Living Art won in the day’s seventh and penultimate race, held over 12 furlongs with US$55,000 in prize money.
Living Art won for Abdulla Sami Nass, Fawzi Nass and Callum Shepherd.
In second place was Battle Of Talas for Al Adiyat Racing, AM Smith and Gerald Mosse, while Manama Girl took third for Aqeel Hassan Abdulrahim, Jaber Ramadhan and Soufiane Saadi.
Midhall was in the last place to take home a prize for Al Nuwayef Racing, Abdulla Kuwaiti and Abdulrahim Jas im.
Meanwhile, Obeyan 1867 took the prestigious winner’s trophy in the first race of the day, held over eight furlongs with US$20,000 in winnings.
Obeyan 1867 triumphed for Al Wasmiya, Abdulla Kuwaiti and Ebrahim Nader, with Kuheilat Al Adiyat 1782 taking the runner-up spot for Victorious, Yousif Taher and Lee Newman.
Kuheilan Aafas 1708 made it another Victorious-owned, Taher-trained horse in third, while ridden by Anas Al Siyabi; and Obeyan 1777 was fourth for Al Khaldiya, Fawzi Nass and Stephane Ladjadj.
