Bahrain International Circuit (BIC) is inviting motorsport enthusiasts to experience a drive like no other in the latest edition of Open Track Night, set to take place today in Sakhir.
Speed lovers will have the incredible opportunity to bring their very own cars or motorbikes for a spin within the safe and controlled environment at “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East”.
Wednesday’s event continues the exciting programme of world-class experiences at BIC throughout the holy month of Ramadan.
It will take place from 9pm to 12midnight under BIC’s bright, state-of-the-art floodlights, making for a unique and spectacular setting at a globally renowned Formula 1 racing facility.
Action is set to be held along BIC’s 2.550-kilometre Inner Track—the same raced on in the various national championships hosted by the circuit throughout the year.
The cost to take part in Wednesday ’s Open Track Night, when booked in advance, is BD71.500 for half the night, and BD33 for a single session.
Prices when booked on the day itself are BD82.500 for half the night, and BD44 for a single session.
Instructor sessions are also available at an extra cost, while additional drivers and passengers can also participate for a fee.
Open Track is one of the most highly attended offerings at BIC, with race enthusiasts being able to satisfy their need for an adrenaline-pumping thrill.
All this, while having the peace of mind to push their vehicle to its limit in a controlled environment and under the supervision of circuit officials.
Driver etiquette is of ultimate importance in every Open Track activity, so there is no close or aggressive overtaking permitted.
Overtaking is by invitation between corners and driving is monitored, with poor or dangerous driving being dealt with swiftly.
