Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), “The Home of Motorsport in the Middle East,” will be welcoming the general public twice this week for its widely popular Batelco Fitness on Track activity.
This unique experience offers a fun workout either on foot or on a bicycle within the safe and secure setting of the world-class Sakhir circuit.
BIC will first be staging Batelco Fitness on Track this week tonight, and then again on Friday in the early morning.
On both occasions, the activity can be enjoyed either with members of the family, a group of friends, or even as an individual participant.
Runners and walkers will be utilising BIC’s 2.550-kilometre Inner Circuit, while cyclists will get to ride their bikes along the 3.543-kilometre Outer Circuit, with another dedicated area for children’s cycling.
Tuesday’s event will be held from 6pm to 10pm under BIC’s bright, state-of-the-art floodlights, making for a visual spectacle while getting a unique workout at a Formula 1 venue.
On Friday, meanwhile, the activity will take place from 6am to 10am, giving participants a bright and early start to the weekend.
The cost to take part each day is BD2 for cyclists and BD1 for runners.
Payment must be made upon booking.
Children under the age of 12 can participate for free if accompanied by a paying adult.
With Batelco Fitness on Track being one of BIC’s most popular activities, those interested in taking part are advised to book at the earliest.
