Google has updated its Maps application to provide users with a more stress-free experience, media reports say.
The new update to Google Maps now highlights the building the user is looking for, identifies the entrance, and shows where they can park their vehicles.
While the current version only provides directions such as “your destination is on the right,” the new update aims to offer a “more complete” experience.
Google Maps will first highlight the building on the app, then locate nearby parking areas.
After this, the feature will use dotted lines to guide users from the parking lot to the building’s entrance.
Additionally, walking directions will be updated in real-time based on the user’s location.
Google calls this new feature “destination guidance,” and it will be available across all platforms in the coming weeks.
This includes Google Maps on smartphones running Android and iOS, as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
