Kia tests high-performance 2025 EV6 GT with 585 BHP, rapid charging capability

Kia unveiled the 2025 EV6 facelift earlier this year, showcasing numerous upgrades to both its exterior and interior. Now, the South Korean automaker is testing its range-topping version, the EV6 GT.

Ahead of its global debut, the 2025 Kia EV6 GT has been spotted undergoing testing in Germany.

This upcoming model will feature all the upgrades of the standard model, including an updated powertrain.

However, as a performance version, the EV6 GT will also include sportier front and rear bumpers, updated light graphics, larger wheels with a new design, contrasting color options, and slightly revised interior trim options.

The 2025 EV6 will come with a larger 84 kWh battery pack as standard, paired with either single or dual electric motors that produce up to 320 BHP in regular trims.

Reports suggest that the upcoming EV6 GT variant will have the same battery specifications but will generate a massive 585 BHP from its dual electric motor setup.

Additionally, the EV6 GT will support up to 350 kW DC fast charging, allowing for a 10-80% charge in just 18 minutes. However, Kia has yet to confirm the expected driving range for the sportier EV6 GT model.
