Imran Umer, first Pakistani model to win Mr Dubai pageant

Pakistani model Imran Umer has become the first Pakistani to be crowned Mr Dubai.

In its 5th season Mr Dubai received many entries for the contest and 19 good-looking men were picked up to fight for the crown.

Born in 1988, Imran Umer is an international model and has already worked with some of the leading brands of fashion world.

He also has diversified educational background with degree in both computer sciences and MBA and half way through completing his Phd.

The contest included three rounds to determine whether the participants have ability to be a good model, followed by talent round and the final round consisted of questions and answers.

The 19 contestants were from different countries residing in Dubai.

In a Facebook post Imran Umer wrote:

"I won Mr Dubai 2015 title. It's been a happiest day of my life.
I want to thank God, nothing is more important than offering my achievement and thanking God.
I would like to thank Jose Mari Hernandez without him I would have never taken Mr Dubai title back home.
Special thanks to Nina Khan for her continuous support and motivation, Saaz B Kulal for the wonderful choreography and Monster Bhavik Johnny Dance for the support in talent night of Mr Dubai.
Avi Muller for his exceptional support and contributions.
And all the sponsors, contestant and judges.
At last I want to thank my mother and father for being true inspiration and helping me to achieve my recently accomplished goal Mr Dubai title.
My beautiful sisters Leon Shane Irfana Awais Jasper Jht Hendrick, brother Herrod Hendrick Dileep R Shetty and two incredible friends Afroze Charania and Sana Jillani have always wanted me to win Mr Dubai title. See guys I won.
I have not only taken Mr Dubai 2015 title back home but also the colorful experiences, unforgettable memories and amazing friends."

He also wrote: "Thanks alot everyone for your wishes and prayers. I am blessed to have people like you with whom I can share my achievement.
Its very overwhelming to see the kind of support and happiness each and everyone of you is showing. Your love is making me more motivated and dedicated in achieving my future goals.
I promise to take responsibility of Mr Dubai to perfection and strive to be mirror for all aspirants and people around me."

3rd Runner Up Winner - Mr. Naseer Altibi from Syria

4th Runner Up Winner - Mr. Ivan Siarbolin from Belarus

The judges were:

Avi Muller was head of the panel of judges for the 3 shows of Mr. Dubai 2015. A fashion designer by profession from South Africa, Mr. Avi is a Hospitality Uniform Expert based in Dubai.

Jared Jordaan, judged the Talent Show segment of Mr Dubai 2015. Jared, from South Africa is a professional dancer/performer based in Dubai.

Kristle Haynes judged the Fashion Show segment. Kristle is from Netherlands Antilles is a Fashion Consultant with over 10 years of experience in the fashion industry. She is currently the Founder and Editor-in-Chief of the online 7th Magazine.

Prachi Mishra was judging the Talent Show segment of Mr. Dubai 2015. Prachi is a Bollywood movie actress and a former Ms. India 2012. Her latest film 'Dilliwaali Zaalim Girlfriend' is being shown in the UAE.

Marketa Halamek was one of the esteemed judges for the Talent Show segment. Ms. Marketa who is from Czech Republic is a choreographer, model and a model coach with more than 15 years of experience in the fashion industry. She has choreographed many fashion shows and beauty contests including the Elite Model Look UAE & Qatar.

Tatsiana Bokhan, from Belarus is a professional dancer and Speciality Act Artist based in Dubai and judged the Talent Show segment.

Larissa Sergienko was one of the esteemed judges for the Fashion Show segment. Larissa is a beauty queen from Ukraine, an international model and TV presenter. Currently, she is the Managing Director of A Models - a Dubai based modeling agency.
