Apple has officially announced that the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC25) will take place from June 9 to 13, 2025. The event, which will be hosted online and free for developers, promises exciting new updates across Apple’s software ecosystem. Additionally, a special in-person experience will be available at Apple Park on June 9, where invited developers and students can watch the keynote, interact with Apple experts, and participate in exclusive activities.
WWDC25 is expected to showcase significant updates to iOS, iPadOS, macOS, watchOS, and tvOS, with a strong focus on enhanced user experience. Apple plans to unveil refreshed designs, including new icons, menus, and system-wide updates. Along with software improvements, Apple is also rumored to introduce new hardware, such as the highly anticipated Mac Pro and second-generation AirTags.
In addition to hardware and software, Apple is set to reveal updates to its artificial intelligence features, particularly with Siri, following previous delays in AI upgrades.
“We’re excited to mark another incredible year of WWDC with our global developer community,” said Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations. “We can’t wait to share the latest tools and technologies that will empower developers and help them continue to innovate.”
Developers can access WWDC25 content via the Apple Developer app, the website, and Apple’s YouTube channel. The winners of the Swift Student Challenge will also be invited to attend a three-day event in Cupertino.
Apple is expected to release further details about WWDC25 in the coming months.
