Farhan Akhtar and wife Adhuna split after 15 years of marriage
After months of speculation, it is finally confirmed that Bollywood actor-director Farhan Akhtar and wife Adhuna Akhtar have decided to go their separate ways after 15 years of marriage.
Though there were many stories for the reason behind the split, the Akhtars maintained that it is just a matter of growing apart over the years.
Known as one of the most stylish couples in Bollywood, Farhan and Adhuna first met on the sets of Farhan's directorial debut 'Dil Chahta Hai'. It was also Adhuna's debut in Bollywood as a hair stylist. After dating for three years the couple tied the knot in 2000. Even though Adhuna is six years older than Farhan, it never was an issue for the couple who seemed blissfully happy till the stories of their rift started making the rounds.
In the 15 years that they were together, their collaboration went beyond being just husband and wife and she would help him creatively involved with him in all his projects.
