Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt 'calling it quits'
Power couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are 'heading for divorce,' according to a new report by InTouch Weekly.
The gossip site is alleging that Angelina and her husband of 17 months are looking to part ways after a source supposedly revealed that Brad 'plans to file the paperwork as soon as February' while the two are separated filming their respective movies on opposite sides of the globe.
A source reportedly told the site that Angelina and Brad will 'remain civil' during special occasions following their split for the sake of their children, Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox, and Vivienne, who InTouch is claiming will likely not be shocked by the news of a supposed divorce.
"[Brad's] ready to move on to the second phase of his life — and that no longer includes Angelina," the source told the site, adding that Jolie and Pitt are 'done' after living separate lives for the past six months.
Despite the recent claims that it’s Angelina and Brad’s constant fighting is tearing their marriage apart, Jolie alluded to the couple's squabbles in a November 2015 interview with The Telegraph where Angelina admitted that the two have their problems, just like every other couple in the world.
"Brad and I have problems like any other couple," Angelina exclusively told the site last year while promoting the film 'By The Sea', "We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad, but the problems in the movie aren't our specific problems."
Angelina Jolie also revealed in the candid interview that the twosome, who married in August 2014, struggled with the concept of a working honeymoon, even admitting that not having a getaway following the nuptials was 'hard.'
But while InTouch alleging that Jolie and Pitt are heading for divorce, GossipCop is busting the story as nothing but conjecture. A source close to Angelina and Brad told GossipCop that InTouch‘s split story is 'not true' and dispelled rumors that the couple were looking to break-up.
InTouch previously claimed that Angelina and Brad had 'been living separate lives' in recent months and even had 'a series of relationship-ending fights' while they were vacationing in Cambodia over the Holiday period.
The site further claimed that 'the day of reckoning is here' for the two after Brad allegedly 'feels like [Angelina] doesn't listen... so he's given up."
In the meantime Us Weekly reports that the jet-setting parents of six will set up camp in London in March and 'stay for at least six months' while Pitt, 52, films his sci-fi thriller 'World War Z 2'.
