This is how you make the right cuppa’ tea

There are many way to make a cup of tea, well, according to one’s preferences. Some would put the milk before the hot water, some would put it after. No matter how you make it, a cup of tea is all it takes to make your day!

But now there’s a right way to make the perfect cup of tea!

According to a Tetley tea blender, Sebastian Michaelis, who has genuinely got his tastebuds insured for £1 million ( BD 0.52 million approx). So we're not going to argue with the bloke.

Speaking to Time Out, Michaelis confirmed that pouring in the milk in after the hot water was indeed the correct formula when it comes to the science of a cuppa. Because if you're one of those weirdos who dives in milk-first, you "will reduce the water temperature and inhibit the brewing". And nobody wants to inhibit the brewing, now, do they?

Postcard Teas owner, Tim d'Offay, also put his penny's worth into the matter, siding with Michaelis on this one. "You can control the strength of the tea much more easily this way," he adds.

Now that you have the “right method” to make your tea, don’t make the ‘mistake’ of pouring the milk first, unless you like it that way. Got it?
