Bahrain expat’s song gains praises on YouTube

Manama: Former Indian President Dr APJ Abdul Kalam once said:  Dream, Dream Dream. Dreams transform into thoughts. And thoughts result in action. Taking a leaf out of it, Aftab Khan, who dreams of singing on TV and movies, thought his dreams will transform into reality one day. It was most importantly his mother’s dream to see him on screen. With the sole aim of converting her dream to a reality, finally this talented singer have got a chance to sing in Ravi Vijay’s next music album.

Music composer Ravi Vijay, a 7th time winner of National Youth Music Competition in India,  have given Music at many reality shows on Indian Music channels. The song written and rendered   by Aftab Khan is drawing attention of music lovers on social media; more than 10,000 people have watched it within ten days of its release on Facebook
and YouTube.

His first music album is titled ‘Ishq Ki Inteha’ which means ‘extend of love.’ Commenting on the song, a music lover wrote on Facebook:  “It’s a good song and easily puts a smile on one’s face.” Aftab who has been leading an expat life here for the past 13 years, has been a professional singer since childhood.

He also attended the audition of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, but couldn’t participate due to personal reasons. Aftab says his mother always dreams to see him one day singing on TV.

Aftab Khan, who hails from Mumbai, India is a multitalented expat in fact. He is a Black belt first degree in Martial Art and is a big fan of  Chinese martial artist Yip Man, action film actor Donnie Yen.    Here’s the link to his album.
