Australian cricketers may be the highest paid athletes in their country but when compared to their Indian rivals their salary seems a bit less.
Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni and vice-captain Virat Kohli are earning more than triple that of their Australian rivals each year.
Dhoni, according to Forbes, has retained the number 1 spot in the list of richest cricketers, since 2009.
The T20 captian holds the top spot in terms of highest yearly income for best part of last 9 years largely become highly lucrative domestic endorsement deals.
India's Test captain Virat Kohli, is just behind Dhoni, with a net worth of $46 million.
