Even places like Bandar al Khairan has lot many visitors not only to enjoy the geological site but to try out their patience in catching fresh salt water fish. “In the winter it is one of my favourite place to snorkel but given a chance I don’t forget to carry my fishing rod, reels and baits along,” says Martin, who lives in Qurum.

A couple of things to be kept handy are the fishing rods, reels and of course the live baits. “We offer everything on the fishing trip. For the bait we mostly take sardines as they are the best baits to get a fresh catch,” says Shameen.
