Save your kids from obesity

Children often refuse to east healthy food. Therefore, we should discover ways to make them ask for healthy foods.

Here are some tips to the parents.

1 Parents’ commitment to healthy eating motivates children and encourages them to eat vegetables and drink

natural juices and milk.

2 Eat meals together as a family as often as possible. Try to make mealtimes pleasant with conversation and sharing. 

3 Order only healthy foods when visiting restaurants. Avoid too much sweets.

4 Let them choose the amount of food they want; do not insist them to eat too much.

5 Avoid offering treats as rewards. When sweets or chips are given as a reward, it leads children to develop a preference for them. 

6 Make a wide variety of healthy foods available at home. This practice will help your children learn how to make different healthy foods.

7 Do not allow children to watch TV while eating. TV viewing makes them eat more without concentration in the food. 

8 Encourage children to eat slowly. A child can detect hunger and fullness better when they eat slowly.

Make your children enjoy healthy eating; Take them with you to vegetable or fruit markets and ask them to pick what they like. 

10 Always to get try not angry at their eating habit. This will develop hatred for food in them.
