SBI Bahrain gets SISA security certification

Manama : SBI Bahrain has been awarded the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS v3.2) certification from the largest QSA Company in GCC, SISA Information Security WLL, on achieving the compliance on one of the most stringent and most coveted security standard.

In an event held at SBI, Retail Banking Branch, Bahrain, SISA Information Security Worldwide CEO and Founder, Dharshan Shanthamurthy presented the certificate to Prabha Singh, CEO in the presence of TVS Ramana Rao, Regional Head, MEWANA Region of State Bank of India and Shamsher Singh, Country Head and CEO, SBI, WBB, Bahrain. On this occasion he said, “Maintaining the safety of card data and banking systems should be one of the top priorities in banking and financial institutions. SISA is glad to know that SBI Bahrain holds the same credence and is working firmly towards it.”

Dharshan also stated, “PCI standard is very effective in reducing breaches, if we understand the intent behind each requirement and implement them smoothly with the support of good standing Qualified Security Assessor would help organizations to prevent themselves from such occurrence of similar breach.”

Amit Sharma, VP (Operations & Services), Ananth, AVP (Systems), Shankar, Officer (Systems) were also present in the event.
