Sacred Heart celebrates Annual Sports Day

Manama: The Sacred Heart School  held  its Annual Sports Day at its campus in Isa Town yesterday. Around 850  students from Grades 3 to 10   participated  in the event. Sacred Heart Church Assistant Parish Priest Fr Peter Eugenio was the chief guest who distribute medals to the winners. Sacred Heart Church Parish Priest Rev  Fr Fredrick D’Souza attended the programme as Guest of  Honour. Parents and well-wishers also attended  the function. The School felicitated two Edexcel International GCSE London Board World Rankers and two  Toppers in Bahrain with medals sent by the Edexcel London Board.

 Sandra D’Costa got  9th Rank in the world in International GCSE Religious Studies. Sankavi Balraj got 10th Rank in the world in International GCSE Mathematics B. Tariq Aujan is topper  in Bahrain in International GCSE Accounting and  Aaron Mathias topper  in Bahrain in International GCSE Hindi Language. The event started with the march past of four houses   Red, Blue, Green and Yellow followed by class drills and cheerleading. Races, fun games like  Roller Skating, Bicycle Race & Skipping Race  and field events like  Long Jump, High Jump & Shot Put made the sports day a memorable day to cherish.

  The Sacred Heart School, Kingdom of Bahrain has been to the forefront of multinational education for over sixty-five years. The level of the school’s achievement in nurturing its students with these values is evident by the accomplishments of its former pupils.

 Sacred Heart School is now in the care of the Apostolic Carmel Sisters – Sister Benedicta S. Pinto, Principal assisted by Sister Anita Mascarenhas, Vice-Principal, Sister Marie Lily, Head of LKG - Manama, Sister Rose Celine, Sister Maria Nimalapriya and Sister Armilian.
