Bahrain Premier League 2018 inaugurated
Manama : The Kingdom of Bahrain hosted the first ever franchise based T20 Cricket tournament at Isa Town under the patronage of His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa. The event was organised by KHK Sports headed by Mohammed Shahid along with Exelon. Mohammed Mansoor, President of Bahrain Premier League ushered the inauguration of the event.
Intex Lions, Srammram Falcons, Bahrain Supergiants, Bahrain Knight Riders, Awan Warriors and FourSquare Challengers are the six teams that are featured in the first edition of Bahrain Premier League. Apart from promoting the sport of cricket which is popular among the expatriate communities in Bahrain, the sport will also bring foreign direct investment, media technology, employment opportunities and global attention to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
