New Millennium School – DPS shine in Chess
New Millennium School- DPS lifted the Chess title in the Under – 11 (Boys), Under -14 (both Boys & Girls) and in the Under 19 (both Boys & Girls) Category of the CBSE Cluster (Bahrain Chapter) Inter School Chess Competition held at Ibn Al Hytham Islamic School and New Indian School respectively.
School Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Geetha Pillai and Principal Arun Kuumar Sharma congratulated the students and the Coach Deepak Singh Bisht for their commendable performance.
Results of the above competitions are as follows:
U-11:Winners-(Boys) James M Thomas, Chris T Mathew , Kaushik P, Gokul Shajy.
U-14:Winners-(Boys) Abhinav Prasad, Yakov C Thomas, Anish Desai, Gopi Krishna .
U-19:Winners-(Boys) Abhishek Ganesan, Prasanth Shuresh, Sri Krishna Suveer, Devansh Mehta.
U-14-Winners-(Girls) Ishitha Mahi, Vaishnovi Kamath, Isharani A Shiraj, Mahdi Shankar .
U-19-Winners-(Girls) Mahalakshmi R, Sneha Dhileep, Diandra Godinho, Yashaswini.
In the Under 11 Girl’s Category NMS’s team bagged the first runner up position.
U-11-Runner Up-(Girls) Ema Ridhi, Parthi Jain, Vibhuti Sharma, Drishya Vinu.
