My heart swells with pride not just on India’s Independence Day, but every time I witness the remarkable achievements of our Indian community in Bahrain.

The dedication, enterprise, and skills of our fellow countrymen have significantly contributed to Bahrain’s vibrant landscape. Having called Bahrain home for over three decades, I’ve experienced firsthand the warmth and generosity of its people.

This nation has embraced me and my community with open arms, creating a second home filled with love and belonging. My global travels have solidified my belief that there’s no place quite like Bahrain.

I extend my heartfelt gratitude to my Bahraini friends from all walks of life for their unwavering kindness and support. Your warmth has enriched the lives of countless Indians, making our journey here truly exceptional. India is more than a nation to me; it’s an intrinsic part of my identity, a feeling, an emotion and a piece of my heart.

The remarkable progress our nation has made both domestically and globally fills me with immense pride. Our reputation for intelligence, humility, and deep cultural roots is a testament to our character.

Independence Day for me is not merely a historical marker but a living, breathing symbol of India’s spirit.
