HRH Prince Salman takes Bahrain’s message to the world

Eternal vigilance, they say, is the price of freedom. And a wise leader leaves that vigilance with compassion and charity. Such is the case with our ruler, HM King Hamad.

The world has seen that His Majesty has always followed the light on the path led by his illustrious father, the Late Amir, Shaikh Isa - he has always proclaimed the message of peace and inclusivity long before it became buzzwords of this century.

His Majesty’s belief that Bahrain can be a messenger for world peace was always strengthened by action - Bahrain used its voice in global platforms to promote dialogue as opposed to war; the Royal Humanitarian Fund had worked tirelessly to smooth the suffering of people - whether displaced by war or natural disaster.

Nowhere is this more visible than in the camps for displaced person sin Jordan and on the border between Palestine and Egypt.

The RHF, acting upon His Majesty and HRH the Crown Prince and PM’s guidelines and the action of HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad, has built schools, provided medical help and food rations to hundreds of people. on an emergency basis.

I am mentioning all this because every Bahraini’s heart swells with pride and conviction when recalling HRH the Crown Prince & PM Prince Salman’s speech to the Un General Assembly.

Only a leader of a nation that has done its best to foster peace can speak with such focus. We often hear Western countries complain that Arab nations are not pulling their weight when it comes to the Gaza crisis and not accepting the displaced Palestinians into their lands.

Well, we do know that Bahrain has poured funds and resources into helping refugees of Syria and Palestine. We know that Bahrain is working hard to support global initiatives promoting environmental awareness.

We are walking the talk. And that is why we are so happy that HRH our Crown Prince and PM is talking the walk!
