On Tuesday, Al Noor International School hosted an honouring ceremony in the school’s Multipurpose Hall for the winners of the “Quran Recitation and Memorizing” competition.
Issa Sami Al-Mannai, Undersecretary of Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Waqf, the chief guest, presented prizes and certificates to the students, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 12, alongside Mr. Ali Hasan, the Chairman of the School.
The event was attended by officials from the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, the Ministry of Education, dignitaries, Dr. Muhammad Mashood, the Director of the School, Mr. AbdulRahman AlKoheji, the Acting Principal, members of the Quality Assurance Department, Head Teachers, staff members, and the proud parents of the students.

A total of 4,500 students participated in the competition, with 1,034 advancing to the final rounds. Of these, 200 students were recognized and awarded prizes in various categories, including memorization and recitation of Surahs, best voice, and Tajweed.
