New Millennium School achieves academic excellence at World Scholar’s Cup Yale round

Scholars from New Millennium School (NMS) have once again demonstrated their academic prowess and commitment to excellence at the prestigious Tournament of Champions 2024, hosted by the World Scholar’s Cup (WSC) at Yale University from November 12th to 18th.
Competing against over 2,700 scholars from 50 countries, NMS students showcased their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork, earning 16 Gold Medals and 18 Silver Medals. The NMS team achieved a Top 50 Team Ranking in the Scholar’s Bowl and Gold Medal in the debate an outstanding feat in this global academic arena.
As part of the academic exchange and experiential learning emphasized by NMS, students had the unique opportunity to visit Harvard University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).
Participating Scholars in TOC included Paolo Thomas, Kavin Krishnan, Priyanshu Nayak, Sajani Mani Prabu Kumar, Trishaa Jagasia, Samiksha Raghuram, Shawn Felix, Devansh Jana and Atharv Swarnakar Principal Dr Arun Kuumar Sharma commended the students and their mentors for their relentless dedication and remarkable achievements, stating, “The accomplishments of our scholars reflect their hard work, the unwavering support of their families, and the guidance of their mentors.”
Chairman Dr Ravi Pillai and the Managing Director Geetha Pillai extended their congratulations to all the participating students.
