The Indian School Junior Campus celebrated its Annual Day on 14 February with the theme We Are the World. The event was graced by ISB Chairman Adv. Binu Mannil Varughese, Secretary V. Rajapandian, Hon. Vice-Chairman & Member HSSE and Sports Dr. Mohammed Faizal, Hon. Asst. Secretary & Member-Academics Ranjini Mohan, Member-Finance & IT Bonny Joseph, Member-Transport Mohammad Nayaz Ullah, Principal VR Palaniswamy, Junior Wing Principal Pamela Xavier, Senior School & Academic Administration Vice-Principal G. Satheesh, Middle Section Vice-Principal Jose Thomas, Junior Wing Vice-Principal Priya Laji, and Staff Representative Parvathi Devadas.
The celebration came to life with vibrant cultural performances by primary and kindergarten students. The event was seamlessly hosted by Masters of Ceremonies Tessa Picco, Misbah Ul Haq, Abdur Rahman, Kratika Vijay, and Joan Cijo. Head Boy Jeff Jeorge and Head Girl Noora Rahmathali delivered the vote of thanks.

Bhavans Bahrain Indian School hosted its annual Mom and Me event, celebrating the special bond between mothers and their children.
The event featured a lively ramp walk, where participants showcased their creativity and style, followed by a series of fun-filled games. Mothers, elegantly dressed in red, added a touch of glamour to the occasion, symbolising love and warmth.
The celebration concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, honouring outstanding participants for their enthusiasm and spirit.
Principal Saji Jacob, along with Directors Ritu Verma and Himanshu Verma, expressed their gratitude to all participants for making the event a memorable one.
The New Millennium School, Bahrain, celebrated National Action Charter Day on 13 February 2025 with a vibrant and patriotic event, uniting students, teachers, and staff in honour of the nation’s progress and unity.
The school organised various activities highlighting Bahrain’s democratic achievements and steady, integrated development.
On this special occasion, Chairman Dr. Ravi Pillai, Managing Director Mrs. Geetha Pillai, Principal Dr. Arun Kumar Sharma, staff, and students extended their heartfelt greetings and best wishes to the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain as they marked the 24th National Action Charter Day.
Applied Science University (ASU) welcomed a delegation from its strategic partner, London South Bank University (LSBU), for meetings aimed at strengthening ties and expanding opportunities for students in Dual Award programmes, including engineering, business management, and law.
Over three days, LSBU representatives engaged with ASU leadership, faculty, and students, discussing educational quality and future collaboration. Professor Waheeb Al Khaja, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, emphasised that the partnership aligns with ASU’s vision to enhance its global standing in line with Bahrain’s Higher Education Council objectives.
He and President Hatem Masri praised the LSBU delegation’s feedback as inspiration for further academic refinement.
Al Noor International School marked Bahrain Sports Day with a series of sports activities. The event began with a walkathon featuring students and staff, followed by a range of sporting events.
The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) celebrated Bahrain Sports Day on 20 February with a lively event at its Riffa campus.
President Dr. Bradley J. Cook emphasised the day's role in fostering social cohesion and active engagement in Bahraini society. AUBH offers students and staff access to extensive sports facilities, including a Sports Hall, state-of-the-art gym, and football field.
The University of Technology Bahrain (UTB) has been certified by the Education and Training Quality Authority (BQA) in recognition of its full compliance with BQA standards.
This achievement secures the inclusion of UTB programmes in the National Qualifications Framework (NQF) register. The award was presented by Dr. Maryam Mustafa, BQA Chief Executive, and Dr. Diana Abdulkarim Al Jahromi, Secretary General of the Higher Education Council (HEC) Bahrain, during a ceremony at the UTB campus attended by distinguished guests, board members, officials, staff, alumni, and students.
This milestone follows UTB’s successful completion of the second cycle of the Institutional Review (IR) conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education Reviews (DHR) from 19 to 23 May 2024. UTB President Dr. Hasan Almulla stated, "Our achievement reflects the strong partnerships we have cultivated within the UTB community and beyond."
