AUBH honours outstanding students on Bahraini Youth Day

The American University of Bahrain (AUBH) honoured Bahraini Youth Day, celebrating the accomplishments of young Bahraini students and their essential role in shaping the nation’s future.
This occasion underscores AUBH’s commitment to equipping youth with a high-quality education that not only fosters academic excellence but also nurtures personal growth, professional readiness, and the development of their talents.
The university recognized the outstanding achievements of several exceptional students who have made significant contributions in various fields, including innovation, community leadership, entrepreneurship, technology, sports, and the arts, proudly representing the Kingdom of Bahrain on regional and international platforms.
As part of the celebration, the university recognized students for securing first place in the CFA Institute Research Challenge, celebrated the success of the DOO team, comprising of AUBH students and graduates for winning the Startup Bahrain Competition and securing a BHD 20,000 prize. Additionally, the university proudly honored the football team’s victory in the BSCAA Cup Championship, the students’ first-place achievement at the Global Student Research Hackathon in Saudi Arabia, and the debate team’s triumph at the AUE Debate Tournament.
On this occasion, Dr. Amal Alawadhi, Dean of Students at the American University of Bahrain, expressed her deep appreciation for the support that Bahraini youth receive under the visionary leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Dr. Alawadhi highlighted His Majesty’s strong belief in the transformative power of youth and their significant role in ensuring the Kingdom’s sustainable development and noted that young individuals are a true asset to Bahrain, playing a crucial role in shaping both its present and future.
“We take immense pride in the exceptional achievements of our talented and dedicated youth, whose contributions we celebrate on this special day. Bahraini Youth Day serves as an ideal platform to honour their accomplishments and recognize their indispensable role in shaping the nation’s future.” stated Dr. Alawadhi. “At AUBH, we firmly believe that young people are the cornerstone of progress and prosperity. Our goal is to provide an enriching educational environment that nurtures their ambitions, hones their skills, and equips them with the necessary tools to navigate future challenges.”
Dr. Alawadhi further noted that AUBH is dedicated to cultivating a generation of forward-thinking leaders through its rigorous academic programs and diverse extracurricular initiatives. The university’s commitment to academic excellence and holistic development has fostered a dynamic youth community that excels both in academics and athletics while serving as ambassadors for Bahrain on international platforms.
