The wife of the Republican presidential nominee asserts that it is “imperative to guarantee that women have autonomy in deciding their preference of having children, based on their own convictions, free from any intervention or pressure from the government.” This position diverges sharply from Donald Trump's stance, which favors allowing individual U.S. states to determine their abortion restrictions.

Polls indicate that abortion is poised to be a pivotal issue in the election, with Democratic candidate Kamala Harris currently holding a considerable lead over Trump among voters on this topic.

Melania Trump emphasized her belief in personal liberty, stating, “Why should anyone other than the woman herself have the power to determine what she does with her own body?
