In an exciting announcement, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (CSMIA) has brought back its beloved ‘Pawfect’ initiative, designed to melt away the stress of travel and enhance the airport experience with the joy of furry companions. This popular program features nine adorable dogs stationed at Terminal 2, offering comfort and cheer to passengers as they embark on their journeys.

The 'Pawfect' team includes a delightful mix of breeds, such as a Golden Retriever, a Maltese, a rescued Husky, a Shih Tzu, a Lhasa Apso, a Labrador, and more. Each dog has been specially selected and trained to spread joy and provide emotional support, making them the perfect furry ambassadors for the airport.

Travelers can encounter these lovable canines from Friday to Sunday, between 1500hrs and 2300hrs, in the Departures area of Terminal 2, which includes Domestic Level 3 and areas beyond immigration. The dogs are trained to sense and respond to passengers' moods, offering unconditional love and comfort at a time when many travelers may feel anxious or overwhelmed.

“Our ‘Pawfect’ initiative aims to create a more welcoming and friendly environment for our passengers,” said a spokesperson for CSMIA. “We believe that these trained canine companions can play a vital role in enhancing the overall airport experience by providing joy and emotional support to travelers.”

As passengers navigate the bustling airport, the sight of these charming dogs is expected to bring smiles and a sense of calm. Whether it’s a moment of cuddling or simply enjoying the presence of these friendly faces, the initiative is designed to foster a positive atmosphere throughout the airport.

The return of the ‘Pawfect’ initiative aligns with CSMIA's commitment to prioritizing passenger well-being and satisfaction. With increasing complaints about stress during travel, the airport hopes that these furry friends will help alleviate some of the pressures associated with flying.

As the excitement builds for the reopening of this initiative, passengers are encouraged to take a moment to connect with these delightful dogs before heading off to their destinations. With their wagging tails and playful spirits, the ‘Pawfect’ initiative promises to make traveling through Mumbai Airport an even more enjoyable experience.
