Hamas has expressed openness to discussing “all ideas and proposals” as representatives of the Palestinian militant group arrived in Cairo yesterday for talks on a potential ceasefire in Gaza. A senior Hamas official, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of the discussions, confirmed that the group had not yet received any new offers or proposals.
However, the official emphasized that Hamas is willing to engage in talks on ideas and proposals that could bring an end to the ongoing conflict. These include the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, the return of displaced persons, the entry of humanitarian and relief aid, and a serious deal for the exchange of prisoners.
As discussions continue, the focus remains on finding a viable resolution to the situation in Gaza.
