Bollywood Star Saif Ali Khan Hospitalized After Intruder Attack

Popular Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was rushed to Lilavati Hospital early Thursday following multiple stab injuries sustained during an alleged home invasion at his Mumbai residence.

According to Mumbai police, an unidentified intruder entered Khan’s home shortly after midnight, leading to a violent altercation. The actor sustained injuries during the scuffle.

Khan’s publicity team referred to the incident as an "attempted burglary" but declined to provide further details. The actor is currently undergoing surgery for six stab wounds, two of which are reported to be severe.

Lilavati Hospital's Chief Operating Officer, Niraj Uttamani, revealed that one of the injuries was dangerously close to Khan’s spine. "A team of specialists is conducting the surgery," Uttamani stated.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam confirmed that an investigation is underway. "An unidentified individual broke into the actor’s home, resulting in a confrontation. Efforts to identify and apprehend the suspect are ongoing," Gedam said.

Khan’s family has yet to release a public statement regarding the incident. However, his team issued a brief message asking for privacy during this difficult time.

"We request patience and understanding. This is a police matter, and we will share updates as the situation develops," the statement read.

As news of the attack spread, fans flooded social media with messages of support and well-wishes for the actor, hoping for his swift recovery.
