Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi reaffirmed his country's unwavering stance against the displacement of Palestinians, calling it an "injustice that we cannot participate in or tolerate." His remarks came during a joint press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto, who is on an official visit to Cairo.

"We cannot tolerate or allow the displacement of Palestinians," President Sisi stressed, dismissing rumors about potential forced relocations. He highlighted that any such move would pose a serious threat to Egypt's national security.

The Egyptian leader emphasized Egypt’s ongoing commitment to working with the international community, including US President Donald Trump, to achieve a lasting peace based on the two-state solution. He reiterated Egypt's long-standing position against any attempts to undermine Palestinian rights.

"From the beginning of the crisis, we warned that the objective was to make life in Gaza unbearable, forcing the displacement of Palestinians. Egypt has consistently rejected this outcome and continues to stand firm on its historical stance regarding the Palestinian issue," Sisi asserted.

He further condemned the continued violence in Gaza, attributing it to the international community's failure to resolve the Palestinian issue. "What has been happening since October 7 is the direct consequence of decades of neglect and injustice faced by the Palestinian people," he said, referring to the escalation of violence in the region.

Sisi also highlighted the broader historical injustice, stating, "For 70 years, the Palestinian people have endured unimaginable hardships. Their rights must be recognized."

Meanwhile, a senior Egyptian official source denied media reports of a phone conversation between President Sisi and US President Donald Trump regarding the potential transfer of Palestinians from Gaza. The source dismissed such claims as baseless.

President Sisi's remarks underscore Egypt's pivotal role in seeking peace and stability in the Middle East, with Cairo reiterating its position as a staunch advocate for Palestinian rights and regional security.
