Tragic Bus Accident in Southern Mexico Claims 41 Lives

A devastating collision between a bus and a truck in southern Mexico on Saturday has resulted in 41 fatalities, marking one of the deadliest road accidents in recent years.
According to local authorities, the bus was carrying 48 passengers when it crashed into a truck, leading to the deaths of 38 passengers along with the drivers of both vehicles. The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
A security source in Tabasco state reported that only 18 bodies had been recovered so far, while many others remain unaccounted for. Rescue teams are continuing search efforts to locate missing victims.
The bus, operated by Tours Acosta, was reportedly en route to an undisclosed destination at the time of the accident. The company has assured full cooperation with authorities to determine the cause of the crash, including whether speeding was a factor.
