Trump Says He Wrote to Iran Urging Nuclear Talks

Former US President Donald Trump revealed that he has sent a letter to Iran, urging the country to engage in negotiations aimed at preventing the development of nuclear weapons, warning of the potential for military action if talks fail.
"I’ve written them a letter, saying I hope you’re going to negotiate because if we have to go in militarily, it’s going to be a terrible thing for them," Trump told Fox Business in an interview aired on Friday.
"You can’t let them have a nuclear weapon," he added.
